UK nationals and their family members wishing to obtain residence under the Withdrawal Agreement in a host Member State must have exercised their right to reside in that State in accordance with EU law before the end of the transition period (February–December 2020).
They cannot transfer this right to another Member State, as stipulated by the legislator in Article 50 of the TEU.
