UK nationals and their family members may request the Permanent Residence Card under the Withdrawal Agreement after 5 consecutive years of residence and presence in Portugal.
To request the transition from Temporary to Permanent Residence, an appointment must be booked via the Contact Form, selecting Topic Type > BREXIT and Subtopic Type > Application for transition from temporary to permanent residence – Art. 50 of the TEU.
